Ellen Nieslanik, longtime Meeker Classic volunteer, vendor, competitor, and Trial Director (2005-2010), passed peacefully on April 24, 2023. Regardless of the role she was playing, Ellen always labeled herself a life-long fan and admirer of the Meeker Classic. It was Ellen’s wish that memorial donations be dedicated to the Meeker Classic, to continue to support the event she loved so much. Should you feel inspired, please also feel free to share a message or memory by email as well – once you complete your donation, you'll be redirected back to the Meeker Classic website and presented with a web form with which you can send a message to Ellen's family. All messages will be automatically emailed directly to Ellen’s family.  Thank you so much!

Cindy left this world unexpectedly doing what she loved on September 21, 2025. Cindy was a woman of immense courage, resilience, strength and love.Cindy built her farm from the ground up. Deeply committed to sharing her knowledge, she welcomed young kids, troubled youth and fellow stock dog owners for hands on experiences and lessons in farming and animal care. Cindy loved her dogs. She was honored to have her dog Peg admitted into the American Border Collie National Hall of Fame.  Should you feel inspired, please also feel free to share a message or memory by email as well – once you complete your donation, you'll be redirected back to the Meeker Classic website and presented with a web form with which you can send a message to Cindy's family.
