Nestled in the White River Valley of Northwest Colorado, Meeker is home to abundant wildlife, wide open public lands, beautiful snow capped mountains, breathtaking vistas and dramatic cultural history. Flanked by the rugged Flat Tops Wilderness area, the White River flows from its head waters at Trappers lake, through a beautiful valley and the town of Meeker as it journeys westward toward the lower, more arid lands of Rangely and Dinosaur.
