WHAT IS THE MEEKER CLASSIC?
The Meeker Classic intertwines sheepdog trials, education, culture and history into a week-long showcase of sportsmanship, volunteerism and friendship. Even more so significant is the true sense of community it elicits for all those involved. The Meeker Classic Sheepdog Championship Trials (held the week following Labor Day every September) offers five days of sheepdog herding competition for a purse and added money totaling $28,000.
