Entry numbers and information for the 2018 Meeker Classic is available.  Entries will open March 1 – 31, 2018 on dogtrialentry.com.  Entries entered March 1 thru 3rd, 2018 will have priority in the initial draw.  Handlers – now is the time to login to dogtrialentry.com, update your information or create and account.  We’ll posting other reminders about entries as March 1st draws near.  Handlers will be notified of their accepted entry (first 130 dogs) or their spot on the standby list by April 15, 2018.

Entries will be limited to 130 dogs – each will have one run during the preliminaries on Wednesday, September 5, 2018  – Friday, September 7, 2018.  Thirty dogs will advance to the Semi-finals on Saturday, September 8, 2018.  The top 8 scoring runs from each qualifying day will advance to the Semi-Final Round (8 dogs/day for September 5, 6, 7, 2018). Upon completion of all qualifying runs, the top 6 scoring dogs that have not already qualified (regardless of the day ran) will also advance to the Semi-Finals.  The top 12 scores from the Semi-Finals will advance to the Double-Lift Finals on Sunday, September 9, 2018.

The Meeker Classic welcomes Bruce Fogt, Sidney, Ohio as the Official Judge for the 2018 Meeker Classic.  Bruce is a well respected handler with a long history of training and trialing dogs.  He’s also a long-time competitor at the Meeker Classic and a good friend! Bruce actually competed at the first Meeker Classic in 1987 and won in 1995 with Molly.  Thank you for taking on this responsibility Bruce!
