The 2014 Culinary Taste of Lamb Cook-off held in conjunction with the Art Reception drew big crowds at the Meeker Classic Sheepdog Trials this year.   Cook-off participants prepared their entries with ground lamb or boneless shoulder provided by Mountain States Rosen Lamb.   Local cooks, vendors and ranchers competed in the competition.   Judged by Jesper Jonsson, Executive Chef at Randolphs Retaurant & Bar at the Denver Warwick Hotel,  a variety of dishes complimented the competition.  A people’s choice award was selected by visitors that evening who treated to samples Lamb Curry, Moroccan Lamb, Keffedis (Greek Meatballs) Smoked Lamb meatballs with mint glaze and Mousakka to name a few.
